The Blessings and Burdens of Aging in Place. According to a well known AARP survey, 90% of people say they want to Age in Place, that is to stay in their own homes, rather than move to a facility as they age. Every decision comes with positive and negative components. Decision making is best when understand our priorities, and the good and bad in each scenario.
Aging in Place brings enormous benefits and blessings, there are also burdens which need to be understood and managed in the decision making process. Michele McKenney will review these blessings and burdens of Aging in Place at an Educational Symposium hosted by Ave Maria School of Law at Pelican Bay on March 27, 2018.
