Individuals & Couples
You or your spouse might need short term help after a surgery or other health event. You might need long term assistance to enable you to stay at home safely as an individual or a couple. McKenney provides personalized individual care or couples care to meet your specific needs.
Family Members
You might be worried about a love one living alone safely. McKenney provides individualized care to meet the needs of your loved ones, whether they are living alone or as a couple, in a home or a facility. We work with families to coordinate care, attend doctor’s appointments if needed and ensure that family members are kept informed of their loved ones status.
Caregiver Selection and Screening
Caregivers of all levels take an extensive written competency test and are tested for hands-on skills in out In-House Skills Lab. Each candidate is interviewed by a nurse and out HR specialist. They are also required to participate in McKenney’s 6-hour orientation program conducted by a Nurse, Owner and HR specialist.
Our caregivers are W-2 employees, not independent contractors. We bear the risk of unexpected incidents, not you. We protect you by being an Agency that is Licensed, Bonded, and Insured.
Insurance Coordination
We provide a complimentary review of your long-term care insurance policy, to identify your scope of coverage and how to best utilize your benefit.
Once care commences, we coordinate processing the claim. McKenney submits notes and invoices to the insurance company on your behalf, so you are reimbursed in the timeliest way.
Private Duty Home Health Care
McKenney provides senior home care wherever our clients reside- whether it is in your own home, an assisted living, a nursing facility or in the hospital. Private duty home health care is one-on-one care, at the level you request:

- Live-In Assistant
Home health care may be scheduled for as little as four hours a day to as much as 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our Scheduler communicates with you to determine the frequency and duration of your care.
Every caregiver-regardless of his or her level – performs light housekeeping, such as, preparation of meals, keeping living areas tidy, bed making, and laundry.
